Community Manager

The NYC Fair Trade Coalition offers a unique educational experience for ethically-aligned businesses, students of sustainability, and advocates by creating space to incubate and activate local communities.

We are looking for uniquely qualified individuals who feel comfortable interacting with diverse populations. Any day at The Sustainable Fashion Community Center a group of volunteers, abuellas with limited English, special needs neighbors, and those struggling to make it in NYC can show up all at one time.

Duties, Responsibilities, & Compensation.

Days/Hours: Saturday & Sunday 11am-4pm.

Compensation: $15 an hr

Responsibilities:

Work with volunteers to help sort, organize, hang, and curate The Swap Shop.

Help check in and out customers.

Update inventory in The Gift Shop & Online Store.
